Liaoningopterus is a medium-sized pterosaur that makes its home in the rainforests of Terra Nova. It is the second pterosaur to appear on Terra Nova, and so far, the largest. Its body is indigo overall with a pinkish orange underbelly and a patch of scarlet red around the eyes as well as a bright orange crest on top of its head. Its wings are also olive green with darker green stripes and it also sports a bluish green crest on the upper and lower jaws. It is a rather skilled flyer, but on the ground, it's vulnerable to predators like slashers and Nykoraptors.
